Recently, there have been a few questions regarding this year’s annual picnic.
Unfortunately, there will not be picnic in 2023. Pera Club, the location we have been at for over a decade, is a private park owned by SRP. They have decided that they will no longer rent the facility to non-SRP affiliates. A new location is in the works and we are hoping to postpone the picnic by only a couple of months and have it in January.
With that said, we are looking for people who are willing to be on a committee to make that magic happen. Whether you have had experience planning an event like this or not, your ideas, input and effort are welcome. This is an excellent opportunity to get more involved!
